Private RIB Tour in Stockholm – Archipelago and High-Speed Adventure
A private RIB tour in Stockholm where you travel from the city center out to Stockholm's archipelago with a certified skipper. Experience Gamla Stan, open...
The Experience
This private RIB tour in Stockholm is conducted exclusively for your group together with a certified and experienced skipper. Over approximately three hours, you travel from central Stockholm out to the archipelago and back, with a clear transition between historic city, open water, and archipelago landscapes.
The tour begins in central Stockholm. From the water, you pass Gamla Stan and the Royal Palace, where the city's origins and royal presence become clear in their context. The journey continues along Djurgården, where the city's structure transitions into green areas, before you leave the more sheltered waters.
When the route opens up toward larger fjords, the experience changes. The pace increases and you move quickly over the water, with wind, distance, and motion as natural parts of the journey. The course heads toward Vaxholm, a central hub in Stockholm's archipelago.
Here, the archipelago's character emerges in its entirety. The landscape consists of thousands of islands, skerries, and rocks, where forest, cliff faces, and open water surfaces create variation and spatial orientation. During the journey, there's an opportunity to observe wildlife such as sea eagles and seals, depending on season and conditions, which deepens the experience of the area.
A planned stop is made on one of the archipelago's islands. You go ashore for a short walk and a break with coffee in a peaceful natural environment. This moment creates a natural contrast to the journey and provides space to experience the archipelago at a calmer pace.
The return journey takes place toward central Stockholm along a route adapted to weather and sea conditions. The tour concludes after approximately three hours and provides a coherent understanding of Stockholm and its archipelago from the water, in a private and guided format.

Anders Boysen
I enjoy learning things myself, and then I want to share my knowledge with others. I want to understand contexts and see lines of development. That's why I have always been fascinated by history. When I succeed in awakening the joy of discovery in my listeners, when I manage to convey new insights to them, then I am satisfied.
